Vitality and aliveness

Do you want to get unstuck & out of your own way?

Do you want to unwind back to your true self?

Do you want to come alive again?

Then you’re in the right place.

Methodology

This is all about building (or gaining back!) your cognitive capacity. You need cognitive capacity to live a life of vitality and aliveness. To be expansive and unleash your potential.

You know how we can get caught up in the grind, or the hustle, or the habits that run our lives … we blink and days/weeks/months/ years have passed us by?

Capacity coaching creates the headspace you need to think clearly, make intentional decisions, communicate purposefully, and run your life (not let your life run you).

Peaking behind the curtain for a moment – cognitive capacity coaching is grounded in the NLP communication model and Ken Wilber’s Integral Theory.

Development always starts with awareness and attention. It involves decluttering your brain and getting intentional about how you think and spend your time. Then circles around to action and integration. Ending in lasting change.

Programs

The Stories We Tell Ourselves

Build cognitive capacity by understanding the stories we tell ourselves (why we believe them) and what to do about it. This is about noticing your inner dialogue, really listening to the things you say about yourself. Then turning it all on its head – and talking back your power.

Energy Coaching Framework

Build capacity through understanding and activating the Energy Coaching Framework. Exploring 5 Energy Levels: cognitive, emotional, relational, physical, and spiritual. Tap into your energy, notice where it’s flowing freely and where it’s escaping. Only then can you discover what’s possible.

Both programs have the same underlying principles:

1. Building: step-by-step approach that builds as you go.

2. Simple: unpacking what’s already there, not adding more complexity.

3. Grounded: this is not ‘woo-woo’, it’s who we are at our core.

4. Balanced: noticing what’s coming in and what’s going out.

Designed for self or professional development.

Note: All other leadership development programs are currently being delivered via DISCO.

Knowledge ≠ Ability

For three quarters of my life I focused on filling my knowledge bucket up. With more and more facts, data, and information. More certifications, accreditations, and qualifications. Desperate for the validation ‘knowing’ would give me. Sure, each bite of knowledge gave me a dopamine hit. Addicted I was to fill my brain with information. Because …

Are we oversimplifying work?

Challenging the skills-based management paradigm Since listening to Gareth Flynn’s insightful conversation with Dart Lindsley on the Work For Humans podcast, I’ve been reflecting on ‘skills’ and the idea that employees are not simply an inventory of skills. Yes, there needs to be strategic alignment between systems, tasks and skills. But it’s also a leader’s …
